Social Media & Digital Specialist

For our communication team based in Milan, we're looking for an experienced Social Media & Digital Specialist. The new resource will support the team in managing social media channels, community engagement, strategic planning, analysis and reporting. This person will play a key role in storytelling and content distribution, as well as executing daily posting and editorial planning on our social media channels. With a proven history of growing social audiences and knowledge of analytical tools, this person has a strong artistic sense, an eye for powerful visuals, strong writing skills, narrative skills and understands the MCA voice. In addition, the resource will be responsible for updating and overall content maintenance of the practice’s corporate website.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Website management: select, edit and insert content into the corporate website.

• Social channel management: create, manage and optimise content on the brand's various social channels. Master MCA editorial tone of voice, which may be different between platforms. Monitoring the growth of channels and presenting detailed reports and actions on how to best manage them in line with the firm’s philosophy and identity. Develop social media campaigns.

• Strategic planning: develop and implement social media strategies in line with brand objectives. Developing an editorial calendar for social content, highlighting important dates to consider when generating content and ensuring that this content is relevant, engaging and published regularly.

• Establish key performance indicators to understand efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations.

• Community engagement: building, managing and growing online communities.

• Analysis and reporting: monitor, analyse and communicate the results of social media activities, providing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement, presenting reports and suggesting detailed actions on how best to manage them in line with the studio’s philosophy and identity.

• Constant updating: keeping up-to-date on social media tools, industry innovations and current strategies.

Primary Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in marketing, advertising, communication, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager, for a company in the architecture, cultural, and creative industries.

• Extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms, especially Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

• Italian mother tongue; excellent spoken and written English (C1).

• Excellent copywriting skills in English.

• Experience and knowledge of major graphic and video editing software. Adobe pack will be appreciated.

• Excellent understanding of how to craft effective social media strategies.

• Conduct social media competitor analysis.

• Ability to analyze data and knowledge of social media analysis tools and abilities to develop social media campaigns.

• Manage the social media budget and develop the social media marketing plan annually.

• Digital marketing knowledge.

• Able to individuate social creators for content development (photos, videos, Instagram lives during events).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a copywriter.

• Prior experience as a content manager.
